Description

  • Work with the sales team from initial discovery through deal close to shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates.
  • Lead discovery meetings, platform demonstrations, and technical Proof of Value engagements for existing customers and new opportunities.
  • Translate customer business challenges into technical solutions that position Tanium effectively.
  • Serve as a technical expert throughout pre-sales and Proof of Value processes, aligning activity with strategic account goals.
  • Partner with field engineering teams to maximize technical effectiveness and ensure a consistent customer experience during the Proof of Value process.
  • Address customer needs through strong verbal, written, and presentation communication.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
  • Participate in and speak at regional marketing events and conferences.
  • Provide customer-facing sales and channel enablement, including training.
  • Work across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to improve effectiveness and efficiency across the customer lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Florida.
  • 6+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security.
  • 4+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions.
  • Significant software pre-sales or related value-based technical selling experience in very large enterprise environments.
  • Experience presenting to audiences ranging from C-suite executives to solution users.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning complex initiatives and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, and compliance products and practices.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: Endpoint Security, IT Operations Management, or Regulatory Compliance.
  • Broad knowledge of scripting languages is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Naturally team-oriented with a mission-first attitude.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience required.
