Description

  • Design, develop, evaluate, and modify system-oriented products across their life cycle.
  • Generate system requirements from customer needs, system planning, and acquisition logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define lower-level implementation requirements and system interfaces.
  • Support standards, practices, and procedures related to product development.
  • Assess system performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Develop and execute system-level verification procedures and customer acceptance test plans.
  • Review test plans and procedures and participate in system testing activities.
  • Support systems engineering work across AWS, OCI, and Azure environments.
  • Assist with cloud modernization efforts, including migration from legacy or on-premise systems to cloud-native architectures.
  • Support implementation of Zero Trust security principles, including ICAM practices.
  • Monitor distributed infrastructure, virtual machines, and health metrics to maintain reliability and scalability.
  • Provide technical support for operational strategies that improve process efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Build productive client relationships and complete assigned contract requirements and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant systems engineering experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Experience applying technical standards, principles, and theories to moderate-scope technical challenges.
  • Ability to generate system requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams on implementation strategies.
  • Familiarity with conceptual design, performance assessments, and verification methods.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess technical performance measures and ensure system compliance.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and environments.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
  • At least one cloud certification.
  • Knowledge of system modeling, simulation tools, and requirements management processes (preferred).
  • Experience in hardware and software integration for system development projects (preferred).
  • Understanding of government regulations and industry standards for systems engineering (preferred).
  • Exposure to system verification and validation methodologies (preferred).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills (preferred).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (preferred).
