Description

  • Deploy and support Kubernetes environments in cloud and on-site settings.
  • Travel to deployment sites to help set up and troubleshoot on-premise Kubernetes deployments.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
  • Ensure system reliability, observability, and compliance through monitoring and alerting.
  • Integrate secure APIs, microservices, and third-party systems using REST, gRPC, and message queues.
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain relational and non-relational databases.
  • Collaborate with product managers, mission operators, designers, and engineers to build and improve user-facing workflows.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and agile planning sessions.
  • Contribute to technical decision-making, prototyping, and long-term system design.
  • Debug infrastructure-as-code and Kubernetes deployments in isolated environments with remote engineering support.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance at minimum.
  • Approximately 25% travel required.
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure on Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Strong experience with DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in a modern backend language such as C#, Python, or Node.js.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Blazor, React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or Terragrunt.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and basic cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with C# in ASP.NET Web API and Blazor frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with gRPC in .NET is preferred.
  • Azure or GCP certifications are preferred.
  • Prior experience in the defense or national security sector is preferred.
  • Experience with real-time systems, geospatial data, or sensor integration is preferred.
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP or NIST 800-53 is preferred.
  • Experience at an early-stage startup or on small agile teams is preferred.
