Description

  • Define and own QA scope and test strategy for projects.
  • Estimate testing effort and manage QA team capacity.
  • Account for product quality from requirements review through release.
  • Participate in grooming, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Analyze requirements and clarify acceptance criteria when they are unclear.
  • Identify quality risks and drive process improvements.
  • Lead incident analysis and production bug triage.
  • Coordinate with analysts and technical writers to keep documentation up to date.
  • Lead distributed QA efforts across multiple domains or services.
  • Validate test coverage across functional, integration, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, including 1–2 years in a QA lead or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
  • Experience managing QA teams and mentoring manual testers.
  • Ability to plan and execute test strategies for complex systems.
  • Experience with microservice or distributed architectures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with developers, PMs, designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Intermediate or higher English level (B1+).
  • Strong knowledge of test design techniques such as equivalence classes and boundary value analysis.
  • Experience with manual API testing using Postman or Swagger.
  • Experience analyzing database schemas and writing SQL queries for validation.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, Google Docs, Kibana, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Understanding of event-driven systems, API contract testing, permissions, localization, and configuration-driven feature testing.
  • Optional but strong plus: experience with gaming or transactional systems, audit trails, caching, performance, and load testing.
