Description

  • Perform manual functional, smoke, regression, and UAT testing for release validation.
  • Validate releases in staging and production environments.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation in Zephyr, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Run automated tests, analyze results, and verify release quality.
  • Check UI display and behavior across different browsers and screen resolutions.
  • Work with logs, APIs, and message queues to support defect analysis and validation.
  • Collaborate with the PM and QA technical lead on release processes and preparation.
  • Participate in QA estimation and release readiness activities.
  • Identify defects in already delivered functionality and support root cause investigation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing.
  • Experience in REST API testing with Postman and Swagger.
  • Strong SQL skills, including SELECT, JOIN, and UPDATE operations.
  • Ability to develop test cases, test scenarios, and checklists.
  • Experience testing web applications and client-server solutions.
  • Understanding of software requirements quality criteria.
  • Strong defect analysis and root cause investigation skills.
  • Experience participating in the release cycle, including build verification, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
  • Knowledge of test documentation and QA process standards.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with UI testing across different browsers and screen resolutions.
  • Experience working with Kafka.
  • Experience using logs for defect analysis; hands-on experience with ELK/Kibana is a plus.
  • Experience running automated tests and analyzing reports in Jenkins and Allure.
  • Ability to plan and estimate testing scope.
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong self-discipline.
