Description

  • Partner with Finance, Engineering, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to understand workflows, challenges, and data needs.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt models and data pipelines for financial, operational, product, and GTM analytics.
  • Translate ambiguous user problems and incomplete requirements into structured data models and end-to-end solutions.
  • Tackle complex systems and manual processes to deliver clear, durable data solutions.
  • Own solutions across ingestion, transformation, data quality, documentation, and stakeholder enablement.
  • Connect data and logic across domains to identify simplification, standardization, and automation opportunities.
  • Advocate for high standards in data quality, clarity, documentation, and maintainability.
  • Help teams work more effectively by automating workflows and reducing manual effort.
  • Work with both technical and non-technical partners to clarify needs and drive alignment.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering production data models and pipelines that support business decisions.
  • Strong SQL and modern data modeling skills with clean, maintainable, well-organized code.
  • Experience converting manual or ad hoc workflows into automated, durable pipelines or self-service solutions.
  • Ability to take vague problems, ask the right questions, and turn them into clear technical plans and high-quality solutions.
  • Comfort working autonomously and making thoughtful tradeoffs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Generalist mindset with interest in learning new domains across Finance, Product, and GTM.
  • Curious, resourceful, and willing to challenge assumptions to improve scalability and data quality.
  • Experience in a high-growth, product-led SaaS company (preferred).
  • Familiarity with billing systems, revenue recognition, GAAP accounting, or financial operations (preferred).
  • Experience partnering with Finance and accounting during month-end or quarter-end cycles (preferred).
  • Exposure to Stripe, Salesforce, Looker, or other financial and GTM systems (preferred).

  • Base salary range of CAD $182,240 to $227,800.
