Description

  • Build, secure, patch, and operate self-hosted and managed MCP servers and maintain the MCP registry.
  • Own the agent platform’s deployment patterns, guardrails, observability, and hosting infrastructure.
  • Co-own the AWS Bedrock runtime and gateway, including model access, cost attribution, content filtering, model pinning, and quota management.
  • Build an identity-matched Bedrock-to-Snowflake usage pipeline with spend tracking and threshold alerts.
  • Manage MDM configuration, desktop clients, credentials, and authentication flows for non-technical employees.
  • Develop AI automations across Claude Desktop, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • Implement data-sensitivity routing, least-privilege controls, auditability, and model sandboxing through platform configuration.
  • Automate operational processes and own upgrades, credentials, quotas, and on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps, including production ownership of systems used by others.
  • Hands-on AWS experience with IAM, ECS or Lambda, CloudWatch, and VPCs.
  • Experience developing backend services and APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.
  • Ability to build MCP servers or API integrations from scratch rather than only configuring managed connectors.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent development, including shipping an LLM-based project.
  • Strong self-direction and ability to solve underspecified technical problems.
  • Bias toward shipping and automating manual work.
  • Good judgment when choosing between buying and building, with a preference for focused, maintainable systems.
  • Willingness to raise issues early and take ownership of operational responsibilities.
