Description

  • Define and own the analytical roadmap for a major business area by translating strategic objectives into measurable data initiatives.
  • Architect and steward scalable data models and semantic layers in dbt/Snowflake across the enterprise.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives that integrate diverse data sources and align Product, Clinical, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Advise senior and executive leadership by framing questions, guiding methodology, and delivering data-driven insights.
  • Mentor other analysts and help raise analytical rigor, reproducibility, and overall data maturity.
  • Define, maintain, and govern enterprise-level KPI definitions to ensure consistency and accuracy across teams.
  • Communicate findings through clear narratives that connect analytical results to business and clinical impact.
  • Champion data quality, governance, and documentation across analytical outputs and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in advanced data roles such as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, BI Architect, or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data ecosystems, including CMS data, clinical workflows, value-based care models, and regulatory compliance.
  • Expert-level SQL proficiency.
  • Experience building transformation pipelines using dbt or equivalent modern data stack tools.
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining production-grade data models in Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Knowi.
  • Proven ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analytical plans and actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring data professionals and implementing analytical best practices at scale.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business and clinical impact through data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience using Python or R for advanced statistical modeling or machine learning (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of patient journey analytics, cohort building, and healthcare funnel analysis (preferred).
  • Familiarity with value-based care metrics, risk adjustment, and clinical quality measurement (preferred).
  • Background in statistical methods, causal inference, and experimental design (preferred).
  • Prior startup or high-growth experience, ideally in health-tech or healthcare analytics (preferred).
  • History of contributing to the data community through open-source projects, blog posts, or speaking engagements (preferred).
