Description

  • Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy via secure telehealth platforms for patients and caregivers.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and mental health assessments and develop, monitor, and update treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, supportive therapy, and grief counseling.
  • Facilitate caregiver support groups and psychoeducation sessions focused on coping, stress reduction, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, care coordinators, and other clinicians to coordinate patient-centered care.
  • Identify psychosocial needs and connect patients and families with community resources, support programs, and social services.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, secure documentation in electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
  • Participate in case conferences, professional development, and continuing education related to behavioral health and neurology.
  • Contribute clinical input to multidisciplinary treatment planning, including neurocognitive perspectives and behavioral management strategies.
  • Collaborate on behavioral health outcomes research to evaluate and improve clinical services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a mental health–related field such as Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Professional Counseling.
  • Active clinical license in good standing as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent depending on state.
  • Active clinical license in one of the following states: CA, TX, FL, NM, WA, or AZ.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience providing psychotherapy to adults or families.
  • Experience using telehealth platforms and electronic health record documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Preferred experience working with patients with neurodegenerative or chronic medical conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, MS, or ALS.
  • Preferred familiarity with caregiver stress, adjustment to illness, and grief and loss interventions.
  • Training or certification in evidence-based approaches for chronic illness or neurological populations is preferred.
  • Additional state licensure is a plus.
