Description

  • Prepare and teach webinar-based pre-licensing content.
  • Lead online exam preparation classes for NASCLA/ICC Certified Contractor licensing exams.
  • Instruct course material according to the course plan.
  • Engage with students live over Zoom and respond to support questions through the ticketing system.
  • Design teaching strategies that help students meet course objectives.
  • Evaluate student progress and achievement, and track performance issues.
  • Mentor students and provide guidance on key exam topics, including project management, codes and standards, safety, and construction law.
  • Participate in faculty curriculum meetings and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Assist with updating course content when needed.
  • Conduct student orientation and virtual office hours as required.

Requirements

  • Current NASCLA/ICC Certified Contractor license.
  • Prior teaching experience in pre-license courses, construction-related trades, or professional education preferred.
  • Ability to instruct NASCLA Trade Exam Prep and Business Law content as needed.
  • Experience engaging with students in a virtual learning environment, such as Zoom.
  • Ability to address student support questions through a ticketing system.
  • Willingness to participate in curriculum and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Ability to create practice questions that mirror the actual exam format is preferred.
  • Experience scripting or filming instructional video content is preferred.
