Description

  • Diagnose connectivity and routing issues between customer environments and AWS using VPC Flow Logs, Reachability Analyzer, and packet capture.
  • Lead customer-facing connectivity incidents, communicate updates, and drive issues through resolution.
  • Guide customer IT teams through firewall, VPN, routing, port, and connectivity troubleshooting during live calls.
  • Configure AWS customer environments, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Site-to-Site VPNs, and routing, using Terraform.
  • Configure and validate Entra ID/Azure AD identity providers for platform SSO.
  • Respond to AWS and Kubernetes platform alerts and incidents as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Collaborate with the SRE/Cloud Platform team on reliability improvements and infrastructure changes.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks and documentation for customer connectivity and platform operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of infrastructure/SRE and network engineering experience, ideally in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, NAT, and IPsec VPN concepts.
  • Production experience with AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Site-to-Site VPN, security groups, and NACLs.
  • Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes workloads in production.
  • Production Terraform experience and an infrastructure-as-code-first approach.
  • SRE experience with observability and incident response in a shared reliability environment.
  • Working knowledge of Entra ID/Azure AD group structures and SSO configuration.
  • Excellent communication skills for leading customer technical calls.
  • Healthcare IT or regulated-industry experience preferred.
  • Must reside in the Pacific Time Zone.

  • Target compensation of $135,000–$170,000, depending on experience and seniority.
