Description

  • Drive the migration to Amazon EKS by building reusable Kubernetes deployment patterns.
  • Expand the platform into a second AWS region with multi-region resilience, failover, and data residency support.
  • Own and improve shared cloud infrastructure and automate provisioning with infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Build self-service observability with versioned dashboards, alerts, and reusable OpenTelemetry instrumentation.
  • Develop and operate the AI platform layer for engineering, including managed model access, reusable tooling, templates, and documentation.
  • Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and migrate workloads to a consolidated CI platform.
  • Document platform decisions clearly and align engineering, product, and go-to-market stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product teams to understand needs and shape platform priorities.
  • Participate in on-call support for production systems and reduce repeat incidents.

Requirements

  • Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure on a major cloud platform, with AWS preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including CI platform migrations.
  • Experience designing or operating multi-region deployments with failover and data residency considerations.
  • Hands-on experience building AI tooling that other engineers adopt.
  • Ability to write production-quality code or scripts in Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or similar.
  • Familiarity with secure cloud networking concepts such as VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, security groups, and IAM.
  • Experience with observability tools and practices, including Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
  • Strong written communication and comfort building alignment across teams.
  • Comfort troubleshooting production systems and participating in on-call.
  • Experience with security scanning, intrusion detection, policy-as-code, or other DevSecOps tooling (nice to have).
  • Experience with managed API gateways like Kong (nice to have).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, or similar databases (nice to have).
  • Experience building or operating data pipelines across platforms (nice to have).
  • Experience evaluating LLM output quality or measuring AI productivity impact (nice to have).
  • Must reside in Spain.
