Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to conceptualize, prototype, and deliver new features.
  • Design, build, test, deploy, and manage cloud services and scalable software using industry best practices.
  • Deliver incremental improvements while creating prototypes to validate ideas and mitigate risk.
  • Write code and documentation that is understandable and extendable by teammates.
  • Support teammates by enabling them to build, test, deploy, and operate services reliably.
  • Participate in blameless postmortems and technical discussions, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to team priorities and take on self-directed projects that impact the broader organization.
  • Attend occasional in-person company or team offsites (generally 1–2 times per year) and travel as needed for customer-facing or specific roles.

Requirements

  • Interest in joining a mission-driven company focused on mobility, sustainability, or real-world impact projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on teams and collaborate openly and honestly.
  • Experience building software that is maintainable and extensible by other engineers (team-oriented engineering practices).
  • Willingness to learn continuously, accept feedback, and participate in a culture of growth and blameless postmortems.
  • Comfort working on both team-assigned features and self-directed projects that affect broader systems.
  • Ability to solve problems that help peers build, test, deploy, and manage cloud services.
  • Availability to attend periodic in-person offsites (typically 1–2 times per year); some roles may require additional travel.
  • Location: candidates are welcome from most locations across the U.S., plus Ontario and British Columbia, Canada; Swiftly cannot provide visa sponsorship at this time.
