Description

  • Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to assigned clients.
  • Oversee client onboarding for assigned engagements and follow the defined onboarding process.
  • Implement the company’s technology toolbox across client engagements to improve efficiency and client value.
  • Serve as a resource to team members on client tasks and resolution of client issues.
  • Monitor team performance, including quality, timeliness, protocol adherence, and budget compliance, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives to identify issues proactively and recommend solutions.
  • Support clients’ evolving needs by educating them on the company’s accounting and operational expertise.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and the Managing Director to manage hiring for remote accountants.
  • Orient, train, and coach newly assigned accountants to deliver outsourced accounting services.
  • Balance workload across clients and accountants while maintaining profit margin and leading annual performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10 years of related accounting experience.
  • 4 years of hands-on management experience, including hiring, training, and developing a service-oriented team.
  • Ability to work up to 32-35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during traditional daytime business hours.
  • Proven ability to attract, build, and retain a high-performance team.
  • Experience building strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing best practices.
  • Commitment to follow established policies and procedures and hold team members accountable to do the same.
  • Confidence learning and using QuickBooks Enterprise and Online, Bill.com, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, HubDoc, and similar tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with client data.
