Description

  • Develop, verify, and validate system test cases for web-based and mobile applications.
  • Create and execute test plans, set up test environments, and run database test scripts.
  • Validate end-to-end functionality and enhancement requests.
  • Resolve technical and business issues through analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Partner with leadership to implement effective testing solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and UX designers to solve complex problems and improve the customer experience.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Maintain current technical knowledge and help introduce modern technologies to the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 7+ years of QA engineering experience, or no degree with 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional programming experience in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • 5+ years of professional web automation experience using page object modeling (POM), including proficiency with Cypress.
  • Deep understanding of API testing for web, backend, and mobile applications using REST/RestAssured and microservices.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as MySQL, Postman, and Eclipse IDE.
  • High-level proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Experience working in an e-commerce environment is preferred.
  • 2+ years of mobile automation experience using Appium, plus WebDriver IO, Mocha, and Chai is preferred.
  • Web automation experience with Selenium and Cucumber is preferred.
