Description

  • Review, verify, and approve invoices before payment in accordance with company policies.
  • Resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and item receipts with internal teams and vendors.
  • Prepare and process vendor payments accurately and on time while helping maximize early payment discounts.
  • Track and apply vendor credits for open balances, returns, rebalances, and warranties.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships to support smooth and efficient financial transactions.
  • Perform monthly vendor statement reviews to identify and resolve outstanding balances or discrepancies.
  • Enter and maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite and other financial systems.
  • Respond to vendor and internal coworker inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
  • Support data integrity and compliance with accounting standards through careful system and record management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or international equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar financial operations role.
  • Proficiency in data entry and financial systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, verify information, and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong English proficiency.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability to troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative, positive attitude when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or international equivalent, in Accounting or Business is preferred.
  • Experience working with NetSuite is preferred.
