Description

  • Write email and SMS copy for promotional campaigns, lifecycle flows, product launches, and retention efforts.
  • Create paid social and search ad copy across Meta, Google, and emerging channels.
  • Write product detail pages, landing pages, web copy, Amazon A+ content, and packaging/on-product copy.
  • Develop organic social copy when needed, including short-form video scripts and hooks.
  • Concept campaigns from scratch, including the core idea, hook, and narrative through-line.
  • Write clear creative briefs for designers, video editors, and agency partners.
  • Translate product, positioning, and audience insights into creative direction that supports conversion.
  • Partner with leadership on seasonal planning, brand activations, and new product launches.
  • Concept visuals through mood boards, reference decks, rough layouts, and shot lists.
  • Art-direct designers and video editors and review creative for on-brand execution.
  • Maintain and evolve voice guidelines across multiple brands and help onboard freelancers and agencies to each brand voice.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of copywriting experience in-house, at a DTC brand, or in an agency.
  • A portfolio or writing samples are required, with no exceptions.
  • Experience concepting campaigns and writing creative briefs.
  • Comfort working across email, paid social, organic social, web, and packaging.
  • Familiarity with the DTC/ecommerce ecosystem, including Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, and ideally Amazon.
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Background in supplements, wellness, beauty, or CPG is preferred.
  • Short-form video instincts for TikTok and Reels, including hooks, scripting, and trend literacy, are preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Figma or Canva is preferred.
  • Experience launching a brand or product from zero is preferred.
