Description

  • Lead creative projects from conception through completion across multiple brands and workstreams.
  • Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, and strategists to develop integrated communication projects.
  • Deliver breakthrough creative work while influencing peers and supporting junior creatives.
  • Ensure copy, design, and UX align with strategic insights and overall project goals.
  • Understand client strategic and financial objectives and apply them to creative work.
  • Master the clinical data and competitive landscape for assigned brands and accounts.
  • Participate in staffing decisions and evaluate scope of work.
  • Develop and strengthen client relationships.
  • Manage delegation, workflow, timelines, and deliverables across multiple teams and projects.
  • Monitor execution to keep work on schedule and profitable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical promotional copywriting experience with a strong focus on oncology.
  • Exceptional written communication skills and a strong portfolio of oncology work.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, compelling, and accurate promotional copy.
  • Deep understanding of oncology communications, including tumor biology, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
  • Ability to interpret clinical trial data from peer-reviewed literature and prescribing information.
  • Proven ability to write for HCP audiences; experience writing for patient/caregiver audiences is a strong plus.
  • Solid working knowledge of MLR/regulatory review processes and compliance frameworks such as FDA/OPDP guidelines.
  • Familiarity with Veeva is desirable.
  • Experience across digital, print, and video channels.
