Description

  • Build and maintain data infrastructure for critical platform processes.
  • Develop self-service features, including ETL and orchestration capabilities.
  • Optimize platform processes to improve compute efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Automate operations to keep the platform highly available.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new services.

Requirements

  • Experience with infrastructure as code and containerization tools such as Terraform, Helm, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with modern query engines such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Trino.
  • Experience with modern data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
  • Proficiency in at least one main language: Python or Go.
  • A pragmatic, team-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and balance stakeholder needs.
  • Experience building and operating performant API layers (nice to have).
  • Experience with dbt for transformation, testing, and documentation workflows (nice to have).
  • Experience with query optimization at scale, real-time streaming, or systems at petabyte scale (nice to have).
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled systems such as agentic SRE or AI automation (nice to have).
