Description

  • Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and payroll allocations.
  • Maintain accurate and current financial records.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Analyze financial data, investigate discrepancies, and identify trends.
  • Allocate payroll costs and expenses across companies, projects, departments, GL accounts, and cost centers.
  • Ensure financial records and allocations are accurate and audit-ready.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of GAAP and payroll regulations.
  • Experience investigating financial discrepancies, analyzing GL variances, and resolving root-cause errors.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as NetSuite or QuickBooks.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively.
  • Knowledge of fixed assets and depreciation schedules preferred.
  • Experience with multi-company or intercompany allocations, or healthcare, pharmaceutical, or compounding accounting preferred.
