Description

  • Serve as the primary technical and operational contact for key financial partners and maintain strategic relationships.
  • Work with internal Engineering, Product, and Partner Management teams and external partners to define and deliver technical onboarding and integrations.
  • Ensure partner integrations meet performance SLAs and support ongoing partner success.
  • Define, implement, and monitor partner health and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to improve reliability and product efficiency.
  • Lead alignment for the Global Banks pillar’s technical and operational needs.
  • Oversee and scale incident response processes, including root cause analysis, prevention, and remediation planning.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements to partner operations.
  • Build and manage relationships with senior technology and operations counterparts at bank partners.
  • Facilitate engagement between Stripe leadership and partner stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical partner/account management, operations, or strategic project management within payments or fintech.
  • Direct experience working with bank partners is preferred.
  • Experience in banking, e-commerce, or payments, with understanding of payment technologies and platform-to-partner integrations.
  • Strong technical judgment to assess service and software integrations and apply operational best practices.
  • Proven track record managing medium- to large-scale technical projects with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across business development, product, engineering, and operations audiences.
  • Flexibility to be on-call during seasonal peaks and provide staggered time-zone coverage in a global live-service environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% for partner visits and business/service reviews.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Working proficiency with databases and SQL for partner-facing data analysis.
  • A user-first mindset and a strong sense of urgency to scale products and operations through partnerships.
