Description

  • Supervise and guide a team of automotive technicians to maintain efficient workflow and quality standards.
  • Perform advanced diagnostic tests and repairs on vehicles.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior technicians and team members.
  • Collaborate closely with service advisors to clarify customer vehicle concerns and repair needs.
  • Oversee scheduling of repairs and maintenance jobs to improve shop productivity and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as an automotive mechanic or technician with strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above head and in tight spaces.
  • Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools and navigate a computer.
  • Ability to walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
