Description

  • Oversee and track all root cause analysis processes after incidents, service interruptions, or critical changes.
  • Ensure corrective and preventive action items are owned, tracked, and closed.
  • Maintain a knowledge base or lessons-learned library with causes, mitigations, and best practices.
  • Facilitate cross-functional RCA sessions across Operations, IT, Cybersecurity, HR, Finance, and other business units.
  • Maintain impartiality in the RCA process and avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Provide RCA training and coaching to build a learning-focused culture.
  • Collect, analyze, and report RCA metrics and trends.
  • Lead and facilitate the Change Approval Board and ensure compliance with enterprise change control policy.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end change management lifecycle from assessment through closure.
  • Manage the change calendar, communication plans, and change performance reporting.
  • Improve processes across Operations, IT, and corporate functions using Lean and Six Sigma methods.
  • Integrate RCA findings into updated SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading change management, RCA, process improvement, or operations governance.
  • Experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, energy, utilities, or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL change management and RCA methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, Apollo, or TapRoot.
  • Excellent facilitation and analytical skills for cross-functional meetings and investigations.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority across technical and business teams.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • ITIL v4 certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Experience with tools such as Smartsheet, Planview Adaptive Work, ServiceNow, Jira, CMMS, or DCIM preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory or compliance-driven RCA requirements preferred.
