Description

  • Work with scientists and engineers to design and implement algorithmic software solutions for national security problems.
  • Enhance the software architecture needed to implement advanced algorithms on real-time hardware.
  • Implement and test real-time applications using open architecture software principles.
  • Integrate mature hardware systems with new code and collaborate with subject matter experts to incorporate advanced algorithms.
  • Work with test leads to support testing across modeling and simulation and live test environments.
  • Leverage Live-Virtual-Constructive infrastructure to evaluate system performance.
  • Support and brief customers throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Develop engineer-facing tools and processes that support long-term software development.

Requirements

  • BS with 2+ years of experience or an MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills in modern C++.
  • Proficiency in test-driven development and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with cross-platform development across Windows, Linux, and iOS.
  • Experience with version control workflows.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Self-motivated and able to excel with limited guidance.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with open architecture systems such as OMS/UCI and A-GRA preferred.
  • Experience with radar or EO/IR systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with real-time algorithm optimization, especially for radar or remote sensing applications, preferred.
  • Experience with software quality tools such as static/dynamic analysis and automated testing frameworks preferred.
