Description

  • Support and/or lead development of innovative radar/EW systems through digital signal processing implementation.
  • Architect, design, direct, and implement embedded software for multi-function deployable systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop system requirements and specifications.
  • Research and lead new embedded software implementations and help refine technology and product roadmaps.
  • Design and implement signal processing and software solutions across the full radar processing chain.
  • Conduct performance analysis through simulations and real-world testing to validate and optimize system performance.
  • Prepare documentation including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Communicate technical concepts, project updates, and solution details to teams, management, and customers.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support effective team alignment.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET security clearance with eligibility to obtain Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Strong expertise implementing real-time signal processing solutions in C++ (C++17 or later).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital signal processing.
  • Experience with radar systems, including design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.
  • Experience implementing algorithms in software for real-time systems, especially radar and/or remote sensing.
  • Experience with Xilinx MPSoC and/or RFSoC platforms.
  • Experience preparing and delivering briefings and participating in technical reviews such as SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TIMs.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication and mentoring skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of applicable experience, Master’s degree and 5+ years, or PhD and 2+ years; equivalent experience considered.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Radar Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: CUDA experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with radar simulation tools such as MATLAB.
  • Preferred: Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of target detection.
  • Preferred: Domain experience in Electronic Warfare, Antenna Apertures, Sensor Resource Management, Large-Scale Platform Test Systems, Cyber Physical Systems, or Open System Architectures (UCI, OMS, COARPS).
