Description

  • Set technical strategy for the frontend surface over a one-year horizon and align it with critical business projects.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and implement major product features from Figma or product requirements for high-stakes projects.
  • Migrate and modernize web code, design systems, and frontend architecture.
  • Build or reuse codemods, AI agent skills, and tools to improve implementation efficiency.
  • Own operations and availability, including monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing, and alerting.
  • Set code review and design standards and advocate for them across teams through writing and tech talks.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to help develop talent on the team.
  • Drive horizontal initiatives across multiple teams and product experiences.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications with declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience working across multiple teams and driving horizontal initiatives with demonstrated leadership.
  • Experience delivering major features, system components, or deprecating existing functionality through technical and execution planning.
  • Ability to write high-quality code that is easy for others to understand and use.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and moving between low-level implementation details and large-system architecture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
  • Experience gathering and iterating on feedback from engineering and cross-functional peers.
  • Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience with React with TypeScript is preferred.
