Description

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle from planning through closeout in accordance with company policies, FAR, and DFARS.
  • Work with business, technical, and functional stakeholders to support business objectives and program performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to support program needs.
  • Conduct market research, supplier qualification, source selection, and cost/price reasonableness evaluations.
  • Create and manage purchase orders using purchasing and ERP systems while ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain accurate procurement files and documentation in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company requirements.
  • Use AI-enabled tools and apply AI to improve efficiency and quality in Contracts and Supply Chain processes.
  • Recommend and help implement process improvements to scale and optimize procurement activities.
  • Communicate with internal customers and external partners regarding order status, changes, and returns.
  • Develop and present strategic sourcing plans, including supplier selection, risk assessments, and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of federal procurement, purchasing, or contracting experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiations and supplier management.
  • Experience with FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply federal acquisition policies.
  • Knowledge of ITAR/EAR export controls and counterfeit parts prevention practices.
  • Strong business judgment, analytical skills, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with customers, partners, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and efficient approach with interest in optimizing procurement and contracting practices while maintaining compliance.
  • Willingness to expand expertise across other areas of Supply Chain and Contracts.

Benefits

  • Full-time salary range of $93,000 to $117,000.
  • Temporary assignment expected to last approximately 3.5 months.
