Description

  • Support and/or lead development of innovative radar and electronic warfare systems through digital signal processing implementation.
  • Architect, design, direct, and implement embedded software for multi-function, deployable systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Research and lead new embedded software implementations and help refine technology and product roadmaps.
  • Design and implement signal processing and software solutions across the signal processing chain.
  • Conduct performance analysis through simulations and real-world testing to validate and optimize system performance.
  • Prepare documentation, design specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Communicate technical concepts and project updates to internal teams, stakeholders, management, and customers.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help ensure team alignment and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET security clearance with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise implementing real-time signal processing solutions in C++ (C++17 or later).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital signal processing.
  • Experience with radar systems, including design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.
  • Experience implementing algorithms in software for real-time systems, especially radar and/or remote sensing.
  • Experience with Xilinx MPSoC and/or RFSoC platforms.
  • Experience preparing and delivering briefings and participating in technical reviews such as SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TIMs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior engineers.
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of applicable experience, Master’s degree and at least 5 years, or PhD and at least 2 years; equivalent experience considered.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Radar Systems, or a related technical field.
  • CUDA experience (preferred).
  • Expertise in radar simulation tools, such as MATLAB (preferred).
  • Active Top Secret clearance (preferred).
  • Knowledge of target detection (preferred).
  • Domain experience in Electronic Warfare, Antenna Apertures, Sensor Resource Management, Large-Scale Platform Test Systems, Cyber Physical Systems, or Open System Architectures (preferred).
