Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-language, multi-platform software projects.
  • Build and maintain containerized development and deployment environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement automated build systems for C/C++ and Python codebases using tools such as CMake and Conan.
  • Create and maintain automated testing frameworks for unit, integration, and system testing.
  • Integrate security scanning and vulnerability assessment tools into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage version control workflows and branching strategies for collaborative development.
  • Configure and maintain GitLab runners, build agents, and testing infrastructure across multiple sites.
  • Develop scripts and tools to automate software deployment to embedded and distributed systems.
  • Monitor build health, test coverage, code quality metrics, and system performance.
  • Support developers across multiple teams with build, dependency, and environment issues.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience by degree level: BS +5 years, MS +3 years, or PhD +1 year.
  • Strong proficiency with Linux system administration and embedded Linux environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with build systems for C/C++ projects such as CMake or Make.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Preferred: Active Top Secret clearance, with TS/SCI preferred.
  • Preferred: DevOps or software infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with real-time embedded systems software development.
  • Preferred: Experience with package management systems such as Conan, vcpkg, or Artifactory.
  • Preferred: Experience with static analysis tools, code coverage tools, and performance profiling.
  • Preferred: Experience with security scanning and vulnerability assessment tools such as SonarQube or Trivy.

Benefits

  • Full-time salary range of $134,000 to $184,000.
  • Compensation is determined based on experience, education, training, key skills, security clearances, and market conditions.
