Description

  • Lead, mentor, and support a globally distributed engineering team across APAC, EMEA, and AMER.
  • Own execution and delivery of critical yearly roadmap items for foundational infrastructure upgrades, high availability, and platform resilience.
  • Drive change management across engineering and product domains to coordinate major systemic changes.
  • Design, implement, and refine support workflows, agile planning methods, and deployment and rollout strategies.
  • Manage and optimize the global on-call rotation to balance team well-being with high availability.
  • Lead incident response, including communication, rapid resolution, and blameless post-mortems.
  • Coordinate complex, multi-stage technical rollouts and deployments.
  • Break down silos between technical groups and build alignment across teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, DevOps Lead, or Site Reliability Engineering Lead.
  • Experience managing globally distributed teams.
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and team culture.
  • Deep experience with engineering support frameworks, roadmap planning, and prioritization methodologies.
  • Proven experience owning change management lifecycles.
  • Extensive experience managing incident management lifecycles and global on-call rotations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for complex technical rollouts.
  • Solid understanding of modern DevOps/SRE ecosystems, including Kubernetes (GKE), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), PostgreSQL, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Thanos.
  • Strategic mindset for navigating shifting priorities and supporting core infrastructure.
  • Hands-on technical depth is not required daily, but fluency in the operational realities of the stack is expected.
