Description

  • Develop electronic warfare and radar system concepts, signal processing algorithms, machine learning algorithms, and RF solutions for remote sensing challenges.
  • Provide technical leadership to small, multidisciplinary teams developing, implementing, testing, and integrating sensing and electronic warfare systems.
  • Direct modeling and simulation activities for advanced RF systems to support algorithm development, testing, and integration.
  • Plan and support algorithm test and evaluation activities, including performance assessment in laboratory and field environments.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, stakeholders, sponsors, prime contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Translate customer requirements into research focus and technical direction.
  • Create and present deep technical briefings and high-level briefings for customers and senior management.
  • Work across multidisciplinary teams to design, analyze, integrate, and demonstrate signal processing algorithms for complex systems.

Requirements

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Active security clearance with eligibility to support special access programs.
  • PhD, MS, or BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8–10+ years of relevant experience depending on degree.
  • Strong scientific programming skills with Matlab, Python, Simulink, and/or C/C++.
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, and analyzing ML/AI algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of radar architectures, waveforms, modes, and RF signal chains.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to create and present detailed technical briefings and executive-level briefings.
  • Preferred: Current TS/SSBI with SCI and ability to gain and hold SCI/SAP accreditations.
  • Preferred: Experience with advanced RF system concepts, signal processing, open architectures, and systems integration.
  • Preferred: Experience in software development.
  • Preferred: Ability to survey literature, incorporate recent research, and transition it into integrated, tested solutions.
  • Preferred: Experience translating mission needs into end-to-end analytical solutions with decision-makers and customers.
