Description

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence, including frontier LLMs, embedding models, and rerankers.
  • Innovate in next-generation information retrieval and LLM agent paradigms.
  • Collaborate closely with research scientists, research engineers, and peers across the organization.
  • Work on challenging problems at the intersection of machine learning research and practical deployment of large neural networks.
  • Contribute to the development of next-generation AI models.
  • Help integrate state-of-the-art embedding models with MongoDB’s data platform to create end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Familiarity with distributed training of neural networks for language and visual understanding.
  • Experience working on large neural network training and deployment is preferred.
  • Background in AI research related to retrieval, embeddings, reranking, or LLMs is preferred.
