Description

  • Build and ship robust backend services and frontends with real product impact.
  • Ensure systems are scalable, performant, and easy to maintain.
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate services and deliver end-to-end value.
  • Model business domains into clean, performant data structures.
  • Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices.
  • Lead technical delivery on initiatives within a domain or project.
  • Lead by example in engineering excellence, pragmatism, and shared ownership.
  • Implement new features and improve existing capabilities across the product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering full-stack products with TypeScript, JavaScript, and PHP (Laravel).
  • Strong backend development skills with Node.js and PHP (Laravel).
  • Experience with Vue.js or other front-end frameworks.
  • Experience designing and integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Comfortable working in monorepo environments and modular architectures.
  • Proficient in data modeling and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiar with testing practices, performance tuning, and scalable design principles.
  • Proactive, result-driven, and excited to work in a fast-growing tech scale-up.
  • Confident in making architectural decisions and communicating trade-offs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Affinity with rendering technologies such as ffmpeg is a plus.
  • Affinity with motion graphics and visual effects software such as After Effects is a plus.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, DevOps, and public cloud platforms such as GCP is a plus.
