Description

  • Maintain accurate vendor master data and manage the full vendor onboarding process.
  • Handle vendor requests, portals, and communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and procure-to-pay workflows.
  • Prepare and process payment proposals, including foreign currency payments and valuation considerations.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Support monthly financial statement preparation through bookkeeping and accrual accounting.
  • Maintain VAT compliance across European and UK entities and support year-end financial statement preparation and audit readiness.
  • Manage Yokoy and Zip credit card processes, including coding, approvals, reconciliation, and policy support.
  • Participate in finance projects to improve and streamline processes, documentation, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Engineering teams to evaluate, implement, and train others on new financial tools and AI-driven initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a SaaS or international environment with a focus on AP and VAT.
  • Austrian Bilanzbuchhalter qualification, or active willingness to obtain it, is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of per diem and reimbursement regulations across multiple countries.
  • Working experience with bookkeeping, including payroll and/or business expenses.
  • Hands-on experience with AP, P2P, and business expense tools such as Yokoy, Concur, or Expensify.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong understanding of VAT regulations and cross-border tax considerations.
  • First ERP experience required, with exposure to NetSuite, SAP, or Dynamics.
  • Strong English communication and writing skills; German is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated AI literacy and the ability to use AI tools with sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, project management, and multitasking skills.
