Description

  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex client issues in a SaaS compliance platform environment.
  • Own support requests and high-priority incidents from intake through resolution while meeting SLA targets.
  • Communicate directly with enterprise clients through support tickets, virtual meetings, and client calls.
  • Write, analyze, and optimize T-SQL queries to diagnose application and database issues.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server performance problems using tools such as SSMS and SQL Profiler.
  • Diagnose and resolve web application and infrastructure issues across Windows Server, Azure, IIS, and Windows Services.
  • Monitor Azure-hosted applications using tools such as New Relic, SQL Sentry, and Uptrends to identify performance degradation.
  • Collaborate with Development, Product, Infrastructure, and Professional Services teams to resolve issues and improve support processes.
  • Document root causes, contribute to post-incident reviews, and recommend stability improvements.
  • Develop and maintain internal knowledge bases, troubleshooting guides, and best-practice documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise web applications or SaaS platforms in a Microsoft technology environment.
  • Advanced hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex T-SQL scripting, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Experience limited to MySQL, Oracle, or other RDBMS platforms will not meet the requirements.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting complex issues involving web applications, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft-based web applications in IIS and Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server infrastructure and hosted application stacks.
  • Experience using monitoring tools such as New Relic, SQL Sentry, or Uptrends.
  • Experience working within structured service delivery frameworks and ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
