Description

  • Coordinate patients, appointments, and scheduling workflows for a dermatology and med spa practice.
  • Handle patient communication and front desk call management with a focus on responsiveness and service quality.
  • Support cosmetic outreach and social media activities across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Manage prior authorizations, insurance approvals, submissions, follow-ups, and denial prevention efforts.
  • Oversee front desk operations, including team performance monitoring and escalation handling.
  • Maintain workflow efficiency and support patient concerns across daily operations.
  • Work closely with billing and clinical teams to complete authorization and insurance-related tasks.
  • Use relevant systems and tools, including ModMed EMR, phone systems, and AI content tools.

Requirements

  • Experience in a dermatology, med spa, or aesthetics environment is required.
  • Strong English communication skills with minimal to no accent for patient-facing tasks.
  • Experience in patient coordination, scheduling, or medical virtual assistant work.
  • Familiarity with ModMed EMR is preferred.
  • Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations for relevant roles.
  • Experience with social media management or content creation for marketing-related roles.
  • Ability to work camera-on during the shift.
  • Reliable, committed, and available for long-term work.
  • Proactive, accountable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
