Description

  • Schedule new patient consultations, follow-ups, and post-operative appointments accurately within the EMR.
  • Manage complex provider calendars to improve scheduling efficiency and reduce clinical gaps.
  • Make outbound calls for appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling changes.
  • Process, sort, and organize incoming and outgoing medical records, reports, and imaging.
  • Request missing clinical documentation from external facilities and upload records into DrChrono.
  • Coordinate secure transfer of records between external providers, surgical facilities, and patients while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Answer inbound calls and assist English- and Spanish-speaking patients with scheduling and records requests.
  • Update patient profiles, verify insurance information, and document interactions in EMR notes.
  • Support on-site clinic staff with daily administrative tasks and remote-to-office workflow coordination.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Medical Scheduler, Records Coordinator, or Medical Administrative Assistant within a U.S.-based practice.
  • Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • English speech must feature clear pronunciation with little to no noticeable accent.
  • Experience managing digital medical charts, release-of-information (ROI) protocols, and high-volume scheduling workflows.
  • Exceptional multitasking ability and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a secure, private, HIPAA-compliant home office.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Clear headset for remote communication.
