Description

  • Provide management consultations that support employee wellbeing and workplace effectiveness during the designated service hours.
  • Coordinate and deliver virtual critical incident response requests.
  • Complete management referral intakes and ensure employees are appropriately placed according to established guidelines.
  • Provide guidance on EAP protocols to counselors working with employees.
  • Work daily incoming queue shifts and meet speed-to-answer and service level agreement requirements.
  • Follow up with employees and supervisors or HR managers to monitor compliance and gather feedback.
  • Confirm required paperwork and signed releases are in place to coordinate follow-up with treatment providers and HR or managers.
  • Provide limited aftercare monitoring to support employee safety and continuity of treatment.
  • Assess risk and manage member and organizational crises through in-the-moment support, triage, safety planning, and follow-up.
  • Identify and help resolve barriers or disruptions to care, and serve as a subject matter expert on the customer’s benefits ecosystem and programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation that meets risk management and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Active LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist license with a minimum of 3 years of experience; independent licensure required.
  • EAP experience.
  • Experience in crisis management and substance use disorder (SUD) support.
  • Experience delivering and coordinating critical incident response is required.
  • SAP qualification preferred.
  • CEAP certification preferred.
  • Supervisory experience and/or experience working with management and human resource professionals preferred.
  • Familiarity with employee assistance or human services program terminology and concepts.
  • Experience working with diverse populations; bilingual ability preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare settings and community resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using new technologies and platforms, with strong computer and tech fluency.
  • Ability to multitask, context switch, and work proactively beyond minimum expectations.
