Description

  • Design, build, and implement security architectures for engineering projects and systems, including future AI/ML-enabled products.
  • Lead and maintain the multi-year security architecture roadmap and keep it aligned with business goals and evolving threats.
  • Develop secure frameworks for AI/ML deployments and guide the transition toward Post-Quantum Cryptography standards.
  • Partner with product and engineering leaders to define product security strategy for secure, large-scale payment orchestration.
  • Advise on security architecture for international expansion, including data residency requirements and regional payment regulations.
  • Recommend updates to security policies and controls to support compliance with PCI DSS, ISO-27001, ISO-27701, ISO-42001, and other global payment security regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and lead security-focused cross-functional projects.
  • Continuously monitor security trends, threat intelligence, and attack vectors to improve the security posture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with emphasis on enterprise security design, planning, and integration.
  • Proven experience securing emerging technologies, including AI/ML and advanced cryptographic systems.
  • Deep expertise in IT security architecture, cloud security across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and network security.
  • Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability testing, and security assessments in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and ISO 42001.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • Experience designing scalable security solutions that strengthen API security, authentication, and global data flow protection.
  • A proactive, inquisitive mindset and the ability to think like a malicious hacker to anticipate risks.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and prioritize needs across multiple global stakeholders.
  • Experience in payments or financial services, including high-volume transaction processing and payment orchestration, is preferred.
  • Experience with PCI DSS and international financial regulations in global environments is preferred.
