Description

  • Define, own, and manage core payment operations and key performance metrics, including acceptance rates, performance, conversion, compliance, and cost.
  • Develop and implement fraud prevention and risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to protect company assets and reduce losses.
  • Analyze market trends and changing payment landscapes to improve payment quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Monitor business and process metrics to identify issues and drive operational improvements.
  • Lead investigations into suspected fraudulent activity, including review of data, documentation, and evidence.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to resolve local challenges and improve customer experience.
  • Recruit, manage, lead, and motivate a distributed team of payment specialists across multiple geographies.
  • Stay current on payment regulations, system changes, compliance directives, and operational needs.
  • Establish, revise, and enforce policy while reviewing system enhancements and operational requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with network partners to resolve ongoing production issues.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of global payment systems and region-specific rules and regulations.
  • Payment operations experience in tech, fintech, or gaming is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in fraud, risk, KYC, investigation, and risk management.
  • Expert experience managing, leading, and building teams.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience owning and solving complex payment issues.
  • Understanding of compliance and risk awareness.
