Description

  • Act as the primary local owner and internal representative for the assigned territory or territories.
  • Develop and execute market entry, expansion, and growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for revenue growth, product expansion, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain relationships with local Gambling Boards, regulators, and testing laboratories.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, licence conditions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support certification, audits, and regulatory reporting activities.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with local, regional, and international providers.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract management to secure favourable and compliant terms.
  • Drive product and content localization to improve market relevance, regulatory suitability, and customer appeal.
  • Act as the bridge between the market and internal teams across Payments, Compliance, Product, Marketing, Trading, Customer Support, Finance, and Operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the iGaming / gambling industry, preferably within African markets.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, commercial, country management, or iGaming leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to operate independently with end-to-end ownership of a market or functional area.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, including negotiation and contract management experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance processes in regulated iGaming markets.
  • Strong understanding of iGaming products and market-specific approaches to product positioning, promotion, and customer engagement.
  • Strategic, forward-thinking mindset with the ability to identify emerging trends and drive market-specific innovation.
  • Fluency in English and at least one relevant local language for the territory.
  • Working within the designated territory is preferred, though candidates with thorough local knowledge based elsewhere may be considered.
  • Remote-first role with regular interaction across time zones.
