Description

  • Maintain a target list of professional athletes aligned with the organization’s mission, including relevant context for credible outreach.
  • Contact athletes and their representatives through the most effective channels, including agents, managers, publicists, family members, or direct relationships.
  • Move promising outreach from first contact to confirmed meetings by owning follow-up and scheduling across time zones.
  • Track all outreach activity, conversations, and next steps in an organized pipeline so leads do not go cold.
  • Represent the program to high-profile individuals and their gatekeepers in a way that builds trust and interest.
  • Coordinate communication and scheduling until each meeting is fully booked.
  • Use persistence and relationship-building to advance conversations without relying on high-volume messaging.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to reach professional athletes or other high-profile figures and secure contact through the right access points.
  • A track record of booked meetings with professional athletes or comparable high-profile figures, including outcome and method of contact.
  • A relationship-first approach built on trust, persistence, and understanding of the athlete’s circle of influence.
  • Strong follow-up and organization skills, with the ability to manage a clean outreach pipeline and consistent communication.
  • Existing relationships with agents, agencies, managers, or athletes, or the demonstrated ability to build that network from scratch.
  • Remote-ready setup with a dedicated workspace, strong internet, and tools for outreach and scheduling across multiple time zones.
  • Sports industry background in an agency, team, league, or brand environment that involved regular contact with athletes and representation (preferred).
  • An active roster of athlete, agent, or manager contacts that can be activated quickly (preferred).
  • Experience booking talent, closing endorsements, or coordinating athlete appearances (preferred).
  • Mission fluency and a solid understanding of youth sports and athlete development (preferred).
