Description

  • Modify existing Unreal Engine rendering components and implement new ones for PC and consoles.
  • Optimize rendering code for performance and stability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and robust code.
  • Participate in the full game development cycle from early prototypes through release.
  • Collaborate with engineers, game designers, artists, and QA.
  • Support additional development tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the rendering pipeline.
  • Strong knowledge of C++.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine and its rendering architecture.
  • Experience with Nanite, Lumen, and VSM, with understanding of how they work.
  • Hands-on experience with modern graphics APIs such as D3D12 and Vulkan.
  • Knowledge of profiling and debugging tools such as PIX, Unreal Insight, and RenderDoc.
  • Good math skills, including linear algebra and vector math.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working on large codebase projects.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Preferred: knowledge of modern GPU architectures.
  • Preferred: experience with console development.
