Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs for TTS, payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee the full backend API landscape and optimize systems for performance and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions, including customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, strategic environment.
  • Ensure backend systems meet business requirements and scalability needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js (required).
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to move efficiently from ideation to implementation and prioritize work by urgency and impact.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments (preferred).
  • Experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Strong technical skills, work ethic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a 100% distributed, asynchronous environment.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links requested with application.
