Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public TTS APIs and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, auth, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee the backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise customer customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, strategic environment.
  • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact to move ideas from concept to implementation efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node (required).
  • Direct experience with GCP.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to think strategically and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience building great user experiences that delight users.
  • Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred: Experience deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a 100% distributed, asynchronous work environment.
  • Portfolio and LinkedIn links to be included with the application.
