Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend APIs, including public TTS APIs and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking.
  • Own and optimize the full backend API landscape for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Build and support backend services for payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external integrations.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions with a focus on enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to technical decisions in a fast-paced, flat organization and help drive results quickly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node.
  • Direct experience with GCP and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact and execute efficiently.
  • Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Preferred: Experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Experience building high-quality user experiences (preferred).
  • Ability to thrive in a distributed, fast-paced environment (preferred).
