Description

  • Work on data science projects involving predictive modeling, NLP, statistical analysis, vector space modeling, and machine learning.
  • Analyze large user datasets to generate insights for Product and Management teams.
  • Perform research and develop models and data products in collaboration with Development and Product teams.
  • Build novel and scalable data systems with system architects to improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Portals, BI, Product, and Legal on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Support projects such as resume parsing, ranking, summary generation, data quality and scoring, content generation, job recommendations, and conversion analysis.
  • Explore and apply state-of-the-art methods to keep the team’s work aligned with current technology.
  • Improve product offerings by using machine learning techniques and predictive algorithms.

Requirements

  • 2.5+ years of experience for Software Engineer roles or 4.5+ years for Senior Software Engineer roles.
  • Expert knowledge of Python.
  • Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms, including regression, instance-based learning, decision trees, Bayesian statistics, clustering, neural networks, deep learning, and ensemble methods.
  • Practical LLM/RAG experience for search quality use cases such as query understanding, semantic retrieval, and reranker design.
  • Experience with prompt-engineering frameworks such as LangChain or CrewAI.
  • Experience with Solr, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with embedding and vector search.
  • Experience with fine-tuning LLMs on one or more projects.
  • Experience in feature selection and building and optimizing classifiers.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Flask or Gunicorn, open-source NLP libraries such as SpaCy, NLTK, and Gensim, and deep-learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with software stack components including programming languages, backend technologies, database modeling, continuous integration, service-oriented architecture, and software testability.
  • Strong interest in learning and developing software.
