Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, consumption tracking, and text-to-speech services.
  • Oversee and optimize the backend API landscape for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Build backend services that support business requirements and scale effectively.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions with enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to new products and external APIs as part of the Platform team.
  • Participate in technical interviews as part of the hiring process structure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript and Node.js (required).
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to ideate and implement efficiently while prioritizing work by urgency and impact.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments (preferred).
  • Experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and solid work ethic.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly autonomous, fully distributed environment.
