Description

  • Contribute to GPU Monitoring feature development end to end within the Datadog Agent.
  • Build and maintain shared eBPF functionality used by multiple product teams.
  • Investigate and debug complex production issues spanning the kernel, eBPF programs, and agent runtime.
  • Research, prototype, develop, and document solutions for eBPF and GPU monitoring challenges.
  • Provide technical input to product and architecture decisions.
  • Help improve the reliability, performance, and evolution of the eBPF platform across Linux distributions and kernel versions.
  • Support product teams and new teams adopting eBPF within Datadog.
  • Contribute to open source projects related to the eBPF ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Experience working with and developing in the Linux kernel, using eBPF, as a kernel developer, or by building low-level programs in C.
  • Significant experience building high-throughput, low-latency systems.
  • 5+ years of experience building applications and tooling.
  • Deep understanding of the systems you have worked on.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Customer-focused mindset and motivation to solve customer problems.
  • Passion for technology and willingness to grow skills (encouraged even if not all qualifications are met).
