Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public TTS APIs and internal services for payments, subscriptions, auth, and consumption tracking.
  • Oversee the full backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
  • Build and maintain backend services that support payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise customization and integration needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TS/Node is required.
  • Direct experience with GCP is required.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers is required.
  • Ability to ideate and implement efficiently while prioritizing work by urgency and impact.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments is preferred.
  • Experience deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic are important in this flat organization.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, fully distributed environment is expected.
